Be Careful of What YouDump On Those Who Are Listening to You!

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;

lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,

and thereby many be defiled.

__ Hebrews 12:15

According to Jesus, what you are full of is exactly what you will talk about! If your filled with joy, then joy will come out of your mouth. But if you’re filled with bitterness, anger, disappointment, frustration, or rage, then eventually those attitudes are going to show up in the words you speak! Like a rising river, what is inside you- if not corrected by the Holy Spirit of God - will eventually flood out of the banks of your soul and spill out of your mouth, adversely affecting everyone around you.

What a pity to dump all your negitive garbage on your friends and loved ones, defiling them with a spiritual problem that may hound them for years. How much better it would be for you to go to the cross and deal with it rather than to open a spout and let a flood of filth and slime defile those around you!

It may seem hard to keep your mouth shut and to go to the Lord when your dealing with a difficult attitude challenge. But it is much easier to take this route than to spew a lot of garbage that you’ll later have to clean up! So I urge you today to let the Holy Spirit help you overcome your inward struggles. As you do, you will keep yourself free of bitterness and make sure others around you are not defiled by ugly words that you are temped to speak!

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I carefully monitor the condition of my heart and regulate what comes out of my mouth. Because my words are seasoned with grace, those who are near me today will be positively impacted. I seak words of kindness, and I refrain from speaking ugly words that I would later regret. My heart is clean toward others, and my mouth speaks only words that build up and edify those who are listening.

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Grace, Mercy, and Peace

Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith                                        Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

1-Timothy 1:2

If you’ve ever felt like problems were mounting and growing all around you and you didn’t have enough strength to make another step, then I have some very good news for you! Today your going to discover that God extends a very special measure of mercy to people who feel like they are being swamped by the affairs of life.

If you are facing a situation that would normally be devastating or overwelming to you, grab hold of this good news: God has made a special measure of His “mercy” available to you! Don’t try to face the ordeal in your own strenght until you end up feeling swamped and overwhelmed; instead, realize that God’s mercy is available to meet you right where you are. If you’ll open your heart to recieve from God, He will tuck a special measure of mercy between the grace and peace He is offering you today. So why don’t you allow God’s mercy to assist you with the challenges you are facing at this very moment?

Our Confession For Today

I confess that God’s mercy is working in me! God promises mercy to me, and I receive it by faith. That mercy empowers me to overcome my negitive emotions, my struggles, and all the obstacles the devil has tried to set  before me. Because God’s mercy is working in me, I am well able to rise above the struggles I face and to overcome them victoriously!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you All!!

Partners in the Gospel Of Jesus Christ

Always in every prayer of mine for you all

making request with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel

from the first day until now.

__ Philippians 1:4,5

When I think of all the people who have financially supported New Life Christian Church through out the years that we’ve been serving in this county, it fills our hearts with gratitude to God for putting such wonderful  and faithful people in N.L.C.C.. Without them, we would  not be able to do the front line work that God has assigned to us.

In fact, a day never passes that I don’t dedicate time to pray for and to specially thank God for those who support N.L.C.C. with their prayers and offerings. You see, they are our partners in this work of God. We don’t use this term lightly; we truly mean it when we say that these friends and supporters of our work are our ministry partners.

We understand that although we are the ones God has anointed to lead this work, we couldn’t do any of it without the financial support our partners give each week and month. It is their gifts that make it possible for us to accomplish all that God has called us to do.

Let me ask you a question bother and sisters. Do you pray for ministries as well as give of your finances?

Never let the devil tell you that your partnership with a ministry isn’t important. Think of what would happen if everyone simultaneously stopped giving! Preachers would be like automobiles with no gas in the tank. Although equipped to go with a vision burning in their hearts, they would be unable to do their work and fulfill that vision because of their “empty tanks.” The gifts you sow into a ministry can “puts gas in the tank” so the work of the ministry can go forward!

Our Confession For The Day

I confess that I am a faithful supporter of the work of God. I give regularly, consistently, and passionately to see the Gospel go forward around the world. My gifts are important. What I sow really does make a differance. Because of this, I am faithful to do my part, and God will reward me both here and in eternity for the financial seed I’ve sown to help further His Kingdom here and around the world.

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day and God bless you all!

Never Go to Bed Angry!

…. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Neither give place to the devil.

_ Ephesians 4:26, 27

I have to admit that I,ve gone to bed angry on more than one occasian. How about you? Have you ever tossed this way and that way, unable to sleep, because you were aggravated about something that happened? Did you become more and more angry the longer you thought about that issue?

So don’t go to bed angry and let your mind become a movie screen on which the devil can portray every foul thing he wants you to meditate on all night long. That only allows the enemy to steal your peace and infuriate you even further. Why not not instead deal with that anger or unforgiveness before your head ever hits the pillow? Do everything you can to stay free from anger , wrath, and strife, for those fleshly emotions are the entry points the devil uses to wage war in your mind. Know who you are in Christ, The devil has to flee if you are a born again Christian and rebuke him in the name of Jesus. Don’t let this defeated foe rule you , your a child of the King of Kings.

Our Confession For The Day

I confess that the Holy Spirit is producing His fruit in me and my character. I am filled with the mind of Christ; therefore, anger and tempermental outburst have no place in me. I am self-controlled, patient, and kind. When others do or say something to me that is wrong or unjust, I respond in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. I refuse to allow offense to gain a foothold in my mind. I am determined to keep the door shut so the devil can no longer gain access to my life!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Why Should We Stop Just Because the Devil Gets in the Way?

Wherefore we would have come unto you,

even I paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

__ 1 Thessalonians 2:18  NIV

If you are going to do anything significant for the Kingdom of God, you must know in advance that Satan will not be delighted about it. He will try to stop you, thwart you, and dissuade you from staying on track. The last thing he wants is for you to step into the middle of God’s will for your life, because he knows the moment you do, mighty and powerful things will begin to happen that negatively affect his dark kingdom. Therefore, Satan will most definitely do all he can to keep you from getting where God wants you to be!

You see Paul had an attitude that would not give up. It didn’t matter how much opposition was leveled against him, he had already decided he would out live the opposition. Somehow he’d find a way to do what God had called  him to do.

So dig in your heels, and determine that you are not giving in or giving up. Refuse to back up or relent, and keep on pressing ahead. The devil may have put an impasse in the road before you,but that doesn’t mean the show is over! If you’ll listen to the Holy Spirit, He’ll show you another route to get you where you need to be. The Holy Spirit needs a partner who is committed!

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am lead by the Holy Spirit and that He shows me how to get around every obstacle the devil tries to put in my path. No impasse the devil puts before me is sufficient to prevent me from achieving what Jesus has asked me to do and to be. I refuse to accept no for an answer, and I reject any temptation to quit. I am empowered by the Spirit of Almighty God, and I can do anything He will ever ask me to do!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

You Will Receive Exactly What you Believe!

” What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” (Jesus asked)

“Anything is possible if a person believes.”

__ Mark 9:23

Jesus made it very clear that we receive exactly what we believe. If I believe I can do the impossible, I will do it. But if I believe I can not do the impossible, I will not do it. When I look at those who have warned me about all the things they thought couldn’t be done, most of those people have done nothing. In other words, they have gotten exactly what they have believed for! But because we dared to believe, today we are standing in the middle of many accomplished “impossible” assignments that others said could never happen. They were wrong!

Never underestimate the power of faith! Make sure you are thinking and believing correctly because what you believe is exactly what you will receive!

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I can do anything God put into my heart to do. Nothing is impossible to me, because everything is possible to him who believes! I believe God’s Word. I believe I can do what He tells me to do. I believe the vision He puts into my heart is achievable. Because I believe, I will receive the impossible!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!
