Taken Captive by the Devil To Do the Devil’s Will!

And that they may recover themselves

outf the snare of the devil,

who are taken captive by him at his will.

- 2 Timothy 2:26

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am free from deception of the devil! My mind is renewed to the truth of God’s Word. My mind thinks straight and clearly, and I am sound and balenced in my perspective of the situations I face in life. I am teachable when my friends tell me the truth, Helping me see when I am getting too upset about things that aren’t important. Therefore, I’m able to walk free of the devil’s snare and stay balenced in my emotions because of the Word that works mightily in me!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Never Forget How Good God Has Been to You!

Don’t you think it would be good for you to stop what you are doing and recount the blessings of God and express your eternal gratefulness to Him today? As you continually remind youself of God’s goodness and do whatever else is necessary to maintain a thankful heart, you will avoid falling into the trap of becoming hardhearted and stiff- necked like the children of Israel.

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am grateful for and constantly aware of God’s goodness in my life. I have every reason to trust Him, for He has proven Himself to me again and again and I know He will never let me down. He has shown His goodness and mercy to me , and I am a recipient of His grace. I choose to lift up my hands, open my mouth, and declare the goodness of the Lord. The Bible says, Let the redeemer of the Lord say so,” so I am saying right now! Jesus, You are good, and your mercy endures forever! Thank You for showering me with Your mercy and Your might!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

I Am, In a Strait Between two

For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart,

and to be with Christ; which is far better:

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh

is more needful for you.

And having this confidence,

I know that I shall abide and continue with you

all for your furtherance and joy of faith.

- Philippians 1:23-25

When Paul thought of death, he didn’t  even think of dying as we think of it. Insread of thinking of the cessation of life, he looked upon death as nothing more than a departure that signaled the beginning of the next part of his journey in eternity.

A personal note from me Pastor Tom is that I being a Born Again Christian  will never die. I will be with Jesus when my body falls to sleep. To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD!!!!!! Give Him the highest Praise!

Our Confession for the day

I confess that I have a lot of living to do before I die and go to Heaven! God has given me a huge assignment for my life, and I am only getting started in fulfilling what He has asked me to do. Death is not a option right now. Life is my only choice. I am needed and wanted, and God is not calling me home yet. Therefore, I will live a long and prosperous life-and I will run my race with all my might so I can finish my race with joy and victory!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and may God bless you all!

Love Never Fails! - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Dear beloved I plead with you to spend time in prayer about this issue of God’s love in your life. How you relate to others, love others, and impact others is the most important question in your life. Since this is such a vital issue, don’t you think it’s worth your time to get into the presents of the Lord and ask Him to reveal those areas in your love walk that need to be improved?

Our Confession For Today

I confess that God’s love dwells in me. It flows from my heart to all those around me. People who are close to me are changed and transformed by this love that operates so mightily in me. When others see me, they think of the love of God, for it is demonstrated continually in my life.

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Love Rejoices Not With Iniquity, But Rejoices With the Truth

Charity (agape love) suffereth long, and is kind;

charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself; is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,

is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

-1 Corinthians 13:4-6

Have you ever secretly rejoiced when you heard that someone you didn’t like or someone you disapproved of had gotten into some kind of trouble? Upon hearing of that person’s hardship, perhaps you were tempted to think,Serves him right! He deserves what he’s getting! After what he did to me and to so many others, he deserves a little punishment! If this describes you, let me tell you - this is not the way God’s love reacts to such situations!

Our Confession For The Day

I confess that I am blessed when I see someone else receiving a blessing or special attention. It thrills me when I see other people moving upward in life. Even when someone steps into the blessing I’ve been believing for in my own life, I am elated for them!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Love Is Patient and Kind

I confess that I walk in agape love of God. I am patient with other people. I am also very slow to anger or to get upset. I am so concered about the welfare of other that one of my chief priorities in life is to become everything I need to be to meet their needs. Other people see me as a friend who wants to help them succeed. Although God has given me my own dreams and desires, I never neglect to help others achieve their dreams and aspirations as well. Because high- level love works in me, I am becoming more and more like Jesus Christ!

God Has Chosen The Foolish Things!

Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you

were wise in the world’s eyes, or powerful, or wealthy when

God called you. Instead, God deliberately chose things the

world considers foolish in order to shame those who think

they are wise. And He chose those who are powerless to

shame those who are powerful.

1 Corinthians 1;26,27

So don’t let anyone put you down or make you feel badly about yourself. A lack of education, culture, or polish has never stopped God from using people who have a willing heart. If your heart is right and you are willing for God to use you , you are the very one He is seeking right now! Just say, “Lord, here I am! I’m ready to be used!”

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am exactly the kind of person God wants to use! My heart is right; my attitude is willing; and I deeply desire  for God to use me in a special way in this life. I am willing to learn and willing to be corrected. I want God to shape me to become a mighty instrument in His hands. Because of my attitude and willing heart, God is going to use me mightily to further His Kingdom on this earth!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Thoroughly Furnished Unto All Good Works!

It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for   every good thing God wants us to do.

2 Timothy 3:17 NLT

You see when a believer never reads the Word of God, never meditates on the truths of the Word, and doesn’t regularly renew his or her mind with the Word of God, he is like a simple boat that isn’t equipped for long-distance sailing. He might be able to make it across a little lake; however, in order to victoriously make it across the sea of life and through the storms he will encounter along the way, he will need major equipment!

You will encounter all kinds of weather in your journey through life, so if you’re going to make it your ultimate destination, you will need all the equipment and gear you can get!

Our Confession For The Day

I confess that God’s Word has a central place in my life. I regularly read God’s Word and meditate on it’s truths; therefore , my mind is being renewed with the Word day by day. As a result, that Word decks me out- equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual rear I need to take the adventurious trip God has planned for my life. With God’s Word fitted tightly in place, I am ready to set sail and follow wherever the Holy Spirit leads!

Here’s What To Do if the Devil Is Trying To Devour You!

Has the devil ever tried to use your past against you? Maybe he’s told you, You’re in in this mess because of your own actions! Don’t ever try to ask God to help you because you got into this mess by yourself! God won’t help you, because you’re reaping exactly what you’ve sown!”

If you’ve ever heard these kinds of accusations from the devil, then First Peter 5:8 is just for you! It say’s “Be sober, be vililgant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Walking around roaring like a lion, does’nt make you a lion. When satin comes around me roaring and lieing about my past, I remind him of his future in the lake of fire . And then I rebuke him in the name of Jesus’!!!! BE GONE and the WORD say’s he has to leave for a season!

Our Confession For Today

I declare that I have confessed all my past sins and mistakes. Therefore, I am forgiven; I am clean, and I am free in the sight of the Lord. He does not hold my past against me. He is my Redeemer, my Restorer, my Deliverer, and my Salvation. His Spirit is operating in me right now to get me out of every mess I have created, both intentionally and unintentionally. My heart is repentant, and my desire is to do what is right. Therefore, God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

How Do You Make A Dead Man See?

And when He (the Holy Spirit) is come,

He will reprove the world of sin….

-John 16:8

Do you remember times as a child when you did something wrong and thought no one was watching- but then you got caught? Do you remember how it felt to realize that someone had been watching you all along? What horror and dread to be caught in the middle of the act!

This is what a sinner feels like the frist time the Holy Spirit convicts him of sin. Before that happens, it is amazing how long that same sinner can live without conviction or sorrow for his behavior, almost numb to any sense of wrongness of his actions.

But there isn’t a greater miracle than a sinner who sees the light for the first time and then receives Jesus Christ as Lord of his life. And there is no greater blessing than to know that, with the help of the Holy Spirit”s convicting power, you helped a dead man see!

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am sensitive to the Holy Spirit and live a life that pleases Him. But when I fail to do what is right, I am sensitive to His voice and quickly repent for my wrongs I have done. My heart’s desire is to please Him, and I will do everything I can to live a life that honors His Presence inside of me.

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day Saints and God bless you all!

Pastor Tom
