A New Faith

Where is your faith?  Luke 8:25

Read Luke 8:22- 39

Paul spoke of two classes of Christians, the obedient and the disobedient. The obedient always obey God when He first speaks. It is these people whom God will use to make the world know Him.

You cannot talk about things you have never experienced. God has a process of training us. You cannot take people into the depths of God unless you have been broken yourself. I have been broken and broken and broken. Praise God, for “the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart” (Ps. 34:18). You must have a brokenness to get into the depths of God.

There is a rest of faith that rests in confidence in God. God’s promises never fail. “Faith comes by hearing , and hearing by the Word of God” ( Romans 10:17). The Word of God can create an irresistible faith, a faith that is never daunted, a faith that never gives up and never fails. We fail to realize the largeness of  our Father’s supply. We forget that He has a supply that cannot be exhausted. It pleases Him when we ask for much. ” If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your  children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matt. 7:11). It is the  “much more” that God shows me.

There are times when a stone wall seems to be in front of us. There are times when there are no feelings, when everything seems as black as midnight, and there is nothing left but confidence in God. What you must do is have a devotion and confidence to believe that He will not fail and cannot fail. You will never get anywhere if you depend on feelings. There is something a thousand times better than feelings, and it is the powerful Word of God. A divine revelation within you came when you were born from above, and this is real faith. To be born into the new kingdom is to be born into a new faith.

Thought for today: If God definitely tells you to do anything, do it, but make sure it is God who is telling you.

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Come to Jesus

I am willing; be cleansed.

__ Matthew 8:3  (Read Mark 1:28-45)

Today there are many needy, afflicted people, but I do not think most of them are half as bad as this first case that we read of in Matthew 8. This man was a leper. You may be suffering from tuberculosis, cancer, or other things, but God will show forth His perfect healing, if you have a living faith in Christ. He is a wonderful Jesus.

This leper must have been told about Jesus. So much is missed because people are not constantly telling what Jesus will do in our day. Probably someone had come to that leper and said, ” Jesus can heal you.” So he was filled with expectation as he saw the Lord coming down the mountainside. Lepers were not allowed to come within reach of people; they were shut out as unclean. Ordinarily, it would have been very difficult for him to get near because of the crowd that surrounded Jesus. But as Jesus came down from the mountain, He met the leper; He came to the leper.

There was no help for him, humanly speaking, but nothing is too hard for Jesus. The man cried , ” Lord, if You are willing , You can make me clean” (MATT. 8:2). Was Jesus willing? You will find that He is always  more willing to work than we are to give Him an opportunity to work. The trouble is that we do not come to Him; we do not ask Him for what He is more than willing to give.

If you are definite with Him, You will never go away disappointed. Divine life will flow into you, and instantaneously you will be delivered. Jesus is just the same today, and He says to you, ” I am willing; be cleansed.” He has an overflowing cup for you, a fullness of life. He will meet you in your absolute helplessness. All things are possible if you will only believe ( Mark 9:23). God has a real plan. It is very simple: come to Jesus. You will find Him just the same as He was in the days of old (Heb 13:8).

Thought for today: You will never find Jesus missing an opportunity to do good.

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Triumphant in Trials

When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

-Job 23:10

Temptations come to all. In every temptation that comes, the Lord allows you to be temped to the hilt, but He will never allow you to be defeated if you walk in obedience. Right in the midst of the temptation, He will always “make the way of escape” (1 cor. 10:13). With His power, God sweeps away the refuge of lies (Isa. 28:17) and all the powers of darkness. He causes you always to triumph in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 2:14). The Lord loves His Saints and covers them with His almighty wings.

May God help us to see the truth. We cannot be “to the praise of His Glory” ( until we are ready for trials and are able to triumph in them. We cannot get away from the fact that sin came in by human nature, But God comes into our nature and put sin into the place of death. Why? So that the Spirit of God may come into the temple in all His power and liberty, and so that right here in this present, evil world Satan may be dethroned by the believer. You must come to see how wonderful you are in God and how helpless you are in yourself.

God declared Himself to be mightier than every opposing power when He cast out the powers of darkness from heaven. I want you to know that the same power that cast Satan out of heaven dwells in every person who is born of God. If you would only realize this, you would “reign in life” (Rom. 5:17). When you see people laid out under an evil power, when you see the powers of evil manifesting themselves, always ask them the question, “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” I have never heard an evil power answer this question in the affirmative. (See 1 John 4:2-3.) When you know you have an evil spirit to deal with, you have power to cast it out. Believe this fact, and act on it, for “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” ( 1 John 4:4). God intends for you to overcome and has put a force in you whereby you may defeat the Devil.

Thought for Today: If you are not worth tempting, you are not worth much.

Have a great day everyone and God bless you all!

Unshackled From The Tyranny and Cruelty of Sin!

But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin,

but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine

which was delivered you.

- Romans 6:17

Would you like to more fully appreciate how the grace of God has changed you? Why not take a little time today to recall what your spiritual condition was before His grace touched your life? As you do that, I think you’ll realize that before  Jesus Christ came into your heart, life was doomed to failure. in fact, it was so unpromising that Romans 6:17 says you were in reality a “servent’ to sin.

When Paul writes that we were previously the servents of sin, he uses the greek word doulos, one of the most wretched expressions for a slave in the ancient Greek language. It described a servent who was so totally sold into slavery that he had no destiny of his own; rather, he was perpetually obligated to do the bidding of his owner- fulfilling the whims, impulses, quirks, urges, and desires of his master for the rest of his life.

Our prior slavery to Satan was so deeply rooted in our nature that we became inseparable from the sinful nature that so constantly worked in us  and controlled us. Indeed, this pervading demonic presence in our lives was so absolute and supreme that Paul described it this way in Ephesians 2:2: “wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.”

But when Jesus Christ came into our lives, we were immediately emancipated - totally set free! Because of this, we are no longer servants to sin; now we are servants  of the Almighty God.

Now Jesus is  your Lord. Now it is the spirit of God who works in you and supernaturally energizes you to fulfill God’s will in your life. You have a new Master; and His name is Jesus! You have a new Source of energy on the inside - the power of the Holy Spirit!

Refuse to let sin have it’s way in your life any longer. Yes, you were a servant to sin in the past, but know you are a servant of Jesus Christ. So tell the devil to hit the road and take his temptations elsewhere! It’s time for you to yield to the Holy Spirit so He can mightly release His divine power in you and give you the energy you need to live a life of obedience to God!

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I am free because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. the shedding of His Blood paid the ransom for me. The hold Satan used to have on me is broken, and I am liberated and set free! Now God’s divine power operates mightily in me, and I have authority over the enemy who used to control me!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Have a great day and God bless you all!

Wisdom - God’s Guarantee!

___James 1:5

If any fo you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,

that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;

and it shall be given him.

God will not rebuke you or reprove you for asking for wisdom.

You are His child, and He wants you to have the wisdom you need

for life. You’ll find God to be open - hearted and ready to answer any

question you ever put to Him. But before He gives you those answers,

He first wants you to fulfill His requirement of coming alongside of

Him, where He can love and fellowship with you and where you can

feel and experience His love.

Our Confession For The Day

I confess that spending time with God is the highest priority in my life. This time with Him is not and option in my life. He wants to give me all the wisdom and answers I need, but first I must meet His requirement to come close to Him. When I get right next to God, He is obliged to open His hand and show me everything I need to see. I live continually in His Presents; therefore, no form of darkness or ignorance nor any defect in my character can remain in my life!

A Bitter Root Produces Sour Fruit!

Hebrews 12:15

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;

lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,

and thereby many be defiled.

If you find yourself constantly saying negative things about someone who has offended you or upset you in the past, could it be possible that a root of bitterness is trying to grow inside your heart?

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I refuse to allow a root of bitterness to grow deep into the soil of my heart. The instant I recognize that a seed of bitterness is trying to spout in me, I will grab hold of that root, and through the act of repentance, rip those destructive roots out of my soul. I choose to walk in forgiveness and to stay free!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

What Lies in Your Future If You Choose To Give Up and Quit?

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back,

my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition….

- Hebrews 10: 38,39

Our Confession For Today

I confess that regardless of how heavy the load or how long it takes, I am going to refuse to move from my faith position until I achieve the victory Jesus promised to me. I will remain steadfast in my commitment, and nothing can sway or move me to change my mind. I refuse to relinquish any of my God- promised territory! My faith is tough, resistant, persistent, obstinate, and stubborn. My spirit is so tenacious that it refuses to let go! It isn’t a question of IF my victory will come- it’s only a question of WHEN it will come!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Is There Fruit In Your Life?

Here’s What the Holy Spirit

Wants To Produce in You!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering

gentleness, goodness,faith,

meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

-Galatians 5:22,23

Our Confession For Today

I confess that I have a new nature with new desires! I am not the person I used to be. By looking at me , it is evident that God’s new nature is alive and working inside of me. His divine seed is reproducing God’s life in me so that every day I am thinking more like God, acting more like God, and possessing less tolerance for any sin that might still be active in my life. I don’t have to wonder if I’m really saved, for my life gives proof that I have received a brand -new nature!

Are you rooted in God’s Word?

I confess that I am freely and deeply rooted in God’s Word. As a result, I am fixed, steady, stable, and strong like a tree whose roots go down deep. I am tapped into the life of Jesus Christ, and He has become my Source of nourishment. I am held so securely in place that I am unaffected by the storms of life and the pestilence that the devil tries to use to attack me. I will outlast every season, every foul climate, and every storm. I am about to enter into the finest fruit -producing season of my life, my ministry, my family, and my business. My fruit-producing season is getting ready to begin!

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!
